Hi!

Last week we had On arrival in Busteni. It was an amazing time. I met a lot of interesting people from different countries, learned more about EVS itself and Romania. Our trainers told us more about the possibilities which the project offered to us. We had a lot of interesting tasks, competitions and presentations. The organizers also arranged for us a non-formal part with a variety of entertainment and performances.

Before that we visited a beautiful town Brasov! We were on the top of an old mountain in the centre of the town. We visited Bran castle of course. Dracula`s castle. We saw the magnificent autumn mountains surrounding the city. We walked through the old city and its streets and enjoyed our time there.

Now we have Cool November week and a lot of preparation is connected with these activities.

 

Hi!

It was an amazing weekend for me. We had a trip around some beautiful places of Maramures!

Unforgettable churches which outside look as from a fairytale, charming, magic buildings. Built many centuries ago, wooden churches in Romania are still sacred spaces for prayer in some villages. We were in 5 different traditional villages of Maramures surrounding beautiful mountain landscape.

Also we were in the museum that is an old prison and have three floors and a garden. Memorial Prison Museum was an important experience for me.

Also yesterday we were in the schools in the rural areas. We met with children. I look forward to when I’m there again!

 

Preparation

In this week we have been doing a lot of preparation, because on the 25th of September we will have an event. We made posters and flyers, it was a creative and very interesting process. On Friday we will represent our country at the workshop. I have never been at such events, so I’m curious to know how it will be.

Now all my free time I spend on learning English, it is difficult and at the same time very interesting. I see progress and it motivates me to achieve great success in the process.

I enjoy the weather in Baia Mare, today was plus 26, that’s amazing for me as a person from a more northern country.

Next week we will start our activities with children. I hope everything will be good. It is very important for me.

Hello!

Despite my expectations, when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the weather. In this place there is a very comfortable climate and very amazing and enchanting nature!

I live in Baia Mare city. This place is surrounded by the mountains and you can reach them within 10 minutes by bike.

We were met by friendly organizers and placed in a big and suitable flat.

We went to the mountains to have a presentation of our project and the project managers and coordinators.

Now we are preparing for our activity. Our organizers help us a lot with everything: the paperwork, bank accounts, sim cards, bikes, in the flat and at the office.

The weather is wonderful!!
